Watched the new DW episode – I see what people meant.

My thoughts, the short version - I love Adelaide Brooke.

The long version - It was pretty obvious that Adelaide was going to die during the episode from the moment she let the Doctor leave the complex on Mars. But it didn’t really click that she was going to kill herself until she and the Doctor had their, um, talk in front of the Tardis (and outside of her house).

I think this is the first time ever that the Doctor have truly terrified me. The complete self assurance, the lack of any form of compromise, and the utter dismissal of what Adelaide was saying, yeah, that was pretty terrifiying. It is interesting to finally get what the show has been trying to hammer in for the past 4 seasons - the Doctor without a companion is one scary dude.

I'm not sure what else there is to say about this episode. It was a good DW episode, however, this felt like the first half of a two parter for me, and the wait till Christmas makes me feel cheated.

Good episode, but looking forward to the Christmas much more.
