Winter Olympics

Channel 9's coverage of the Winter Olympics is driving me insane. I just want a proper schedule!

I missed out on the couples' figure skating - btw: CONGRATULATIONS to Shen Xue (申雪) and Zhao Hongbo (赵宏博) winning gold! YAY! The pair's comeback after retirement is pretty damn amazing, especially for a pair that is in their 30s, and I think this is the first time in over 40 years that a Russian Couple did not get gold. Anyways, I have no idea when the men and women figure skating sessions will be televised. I want to see Yuna Kim, dammit. And no matter how adorable I think Johnny Weir is, I'm here for Plushenko. Yes, Weir is very shiny and artistic, but Plushenko is amazing - the man is absolutely stunning on ice.

ETA: On thinking - OK, I really want Takahashi and Abbot to have a good chance at the medals this time round. Also, after discussing the matter in great depth I must concede that while Plushenko is amazing from a technical POV, he has no transitions and his choreography isn't exactly the best. But dammit, the man can do jumps that NO other person can do at this point in the male figure skating world.

But seriously - I have seen them skate before and they usually leave me completely speechless. Also, a really sweet comeback story as well ^_^V
