The Clash of the Fictional Dogs: Who is More Awesome?

Dear friends, you have disappointed me. MY LITTLE PONY WON - HOW COULD YOU?! (The sad thing is – it was a decisive victory). The Carebears were CUTE and ADORABLE and had little awesome pictures on their round, furry bellies. Somewhere in the world a carebear have just shed a tear of rainbow sadness.

Anyways, moving onto the next exciting poll - The Clash of the Fictional Dogs: Who is More Awesome?

Poll #1602783 The Clash of the Fictional Dogs: Who is More Awesome?

The Clash of the Fictional Dogs: Who is More Awesome?

Lassie

White Fang
6(60.0%)
Garfield
1(10.0%)
Rin Tin Tin
1(10.0%)
Beethoven

Snoopy

Let me tell you of my favourite fictional dog in the comments.
1(10.0%)

I know there are more fictional dogs than the ones I have stated above, but dudes, these dogs are my favourite (and no matter who you select I will not be crushed by your cynicism).

Also – I’m running out of ideas here, suggestion are welcome. You honestly do not want me to become desperate. I might decide to conduct a poll on the eating habits of fictional characters, and the reasons for their eating disorders.

Hmm.

ETA: I really want to do a poll on She-Ra and He-Man, like you know, who thought they should have gotten together only to be completely thrown when it was revealed the two were siblings? I WAS! Except even at the age of 9 I STILL desperately wanted them to be together. SIGHS.

I LUV U white fang!

Other polls...well if you're still on animals, you could always do more on childhood animal books. Bunnies -- watership down vs. beatrix potter! Horsies -- though I think I read the Silver Brumby only because it was on sale in Perth. Black Beauty maybe...has anyone heard of Piper at the Gate?

Or which kind of tiny people do you like best - Borrowers, Carpet People...(wait do smurfs count?)

White Fang was three-quarter Yukon wolf, leader of a sled team, death in the fighting ring* and death to any man or animal who dared harm his master. White Fang = hands down.

*that bulldog was a cheap trick.

Beethoven all the way. The only thing that makes him more awesome? When the films are shown in Italian.

While I was in Italy, I watched the first film. There was something odly facinating watching the dubbed version - my Italian is horrid - with all the 80s fashion and sets.
