I cannot stop thinking about this show. I have re-watched episode one and three of this about several hundred times now. Gods, I love these two episodes with every fiber of my being.

Lestrade knowing Sherlock use to be a drug addict, the fact that Sherlock use to be AN ADDICT. OMFG! I love the way the writers managed to weave this fact into the modern canon. OMFG! JUST YES! This also raise awesome back-story theories between Lestrade and Sherlock. NEED THE GEN FICS!

John-Fucking-Watson. Stone cold mother in situations that would make most curl up in a fetal position. How yeah, he is empathetic, but he was/is a soldier, death is not new to him. The way he gets Holmes, even if he can't understand him at times.

And ALSO, OMFG! For a SPLIT SECOND there Sherlock thought John was Moriaty. For ONE TINY SECOND. And OMFG! That GLIMPSE of COMPLETE BETRAYAL. OMFG! YES! ACTING!!!1

Gods, I LOVE this show (well, the first and third episode), and I NEED the NEW eps NOW!

DEAR BBC,

PLEASE MAKE THE NEXT SEASON SLIGHTLY LONGER. I'D BE HAPPY WITH FOUR OR FIVE EPISODES.

PLEASE MAKE IT SO.

YOURS SINCERELY,
NAANIMA

ETA: A Sherlock Holmes vid to Lady GaGa's Telephone. OMFG! It is like a PERFECT FIT!

ETA 2: I may, possibly, potentially need some sleep.

ETA 3: SO TIRED, BUT NOT SLEEPY!

ETA 4: The last 15 or 20 mins of episode three is like OMFG! HEART WRENCHINGLY AWESOME. I just - it is like, the WHOLE episode have been about how Sherlock Holmes does NOT care about the victims he saves, it is all about him WINNING. And then he see John walk from the shadows and EVERYTHING that FOLLOWS is like, OMFG! A complete character dynamic/moment. Cold, logical, sociopathic Sherlock Holmes LOST his cool completely to make sure John was alright. Do you not see how IMPORTANT this is?!!!

There was one really good Sherlock backstory fic that involved Lestrade, damned if I can find it again though XD; - the comm moves at the speed of light!

The various ppl involved are all doing like fifty projects each. = = I really have the feeling that no one expected this thing to be such a sensation, which is odd as I assume they watched the final version before they broadcast it? It's dinner party conversation over here in Canada!

This and Inception fandom is moving at the speed of light, and producing VOLUMES of work that would normally require at LEAST a year of germination for tv shows. OMFG! I'm all EXCITED.

I was looking at that - producer, writers, directors, actors, EVERYBODY is doing tv shows, films, or theatre, it is kind of insane. It is like the dead season of tv shows in the UK, and the fact BBC ordered them to reshoot ep 1 was probably also a sign.

Either way - it is BRILLIANT! And I want MORE!
