So, Nanowrimo - sounds like torture.

Yeah, um, torture. Horrible idea. I have never delivered a piece of fiction by the deadline. Never, never, never.

It isn't like I have any ideas that isn't horrifyingly bad and completely self-indulgent. My id, it does not deserve freedom.

Also, the attention span of gnat does not help. Not at all.

So, Nanowrimo - um, yeah, sounds like torture.

Oh look, shiny ball.

I wholeheartedly agree. I cannot do creative writing on a deadline, I want time and space to fiddle and nitpick and make everything just right with my standards before I let it loose on the world. Hence, Nanowrimo = something I would never do.

It just seems insane, and completely not how I work. Sure, there is a masochistic part of me that looks on with wonder and a bit of, um, fatalistic attraction (?), but I know I WOULD NEVER actually write anything for it.

But yes, SHINY!
