DEAR SUPERNATURAL,

YOU ARE AWESOME, AND I'M SORRY I EVER DOUBTED YOU.

THIS SEASON IS GOING TO BE AWESOME. I HAVE NOT HAD FEELINGS LIKE THIS SINCE THE SEASON 4 OPENER.

JUST - HEY!

I LOVE SAM, I LOVE DEAN, I LOVE CASTIEL, I LOVE THE WORLD!

WHEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!

(I might have some coherent thoughts beyond GLEE, maybe.)

whoa, sounds good. What was it about this episode that you liked? Haven't caught spn in awhile, so it would be good to hear some thoughts.

The directing, the pacing and the ways it dealt with each individual character and their relationships. And it was actually funny. I forget that this show is truly funny. It has some of the best one liners and dialogues, ever.

My relationship with SPN is, um, all over the place at times. I have been watching this show since 2006, and my feelings for Dean, Sam and all its side characters have gone through many changes, but it was just good to see a season premiere and be sucked into the plot, the setting and the characters.

One of my major issues with SPN is not the race or the gender issues (yes, I'm aware it has them, but at the same time I'm mostly comfortable with it, because I watch this show for the Winchesters, and everyone is, well, everyone else is secondary), it is with their pacing. I like my action/horror shows slick and fast paced with some truly intense emotional punches in between. The problem is that SPN have a tendency to dissolve into badly paced plot. I like the plots, I just find them to be handled badly.

I'm really excited about the new season, the way they seem to be tackling everything heads on (when SPN is at its best).
