Attended Perth Big Day Out.

Highlights of the festival - Blue Juice, Architect in Helsinki, Regurgitator and, of course, My Chemical Romance. Oh, and the Triple J tent with the DJs!

Disappointments of the festival - The Living End, Kasabian and Sound Garden.

Annoyed at missing - Foster the People. Did manage to catch the tail end of Pump Up Kicks though.

Thoughts - I love MCR. I was right up at the rail guard/fence, and when MCR came on to the stage I pretty much lost my shit. For the next 50 minutes I jumped, pumped my fists, did jazz hands, and screamed out the lyrics to all the songs. It was amazing.

From Danger Days they did Na Na Na, Scarecrow, Destroya and something else I CAN'T REMEMBER. ARGH! Help would be awesome. They also performed Vampire Money and Thank you for the Venom - I legit lost my mind when the latter started. It is one of those songs that I never expected to hear live so yeah. So, yeah, it was awesome.

AND - Helena and I'm Not Okay (I Promise) live is awesome, but I think nothing beats the pure screaming and audience participation of Famous Last Words and Welcome to the Black Parade.

So, it was only 50 minutes, but it was one of the BEST 50 minutes I have ever had.

I'm disappointed to have missed Bluejuice and Architecture at the Sydney show- I heard they were good! But I'm glad you had fun watching My Chem. :D Was the other Danger Days song Planetary, by any chance?

I hope you get an opportunity to see them sometime in the future. Architecture was expecially awesome.

My Chem was awesome. Just OMFG! It was glorious, and my love for them knows no bounds.

I think it might have been because Gerard told people to dance. However, I honestly can't tell you what it was, my mind is a complete blank in regards to the song - no lyrics, I can't even tell you the tune.
