I woke up this morning wanting to read X 1999 fics. Like, I suddenly felt the need to read Subaru & Seishirou surviving the final day and having to deal with their lives because they are the only ones left (or one of very few). And I want their version of curtain!fic, the ways that Seishirou is no longer the Sakurazukamori (but still powerful), and how Subaru is no longer the head of the Sumergai clan as he left that title with one of his younger relatives, and just, guys, WHY?! I mean, I will always have a soft spot for Subaru and Seishirou, but I honestly thought I was over them, but alas it seems I want THEIR HAPPY ENDING.

And while we are on what I want; I REALLY, REALLY, REALLY want a GEN Avengers fic where it is the team being SUPER COMPETENT and TAKING down villains everywhere. It would be awesome.

I have caught up to the Kuroko no Basket manga, and then decided that I wanted to watch the anime. OMFG! I think I like the anime better than the manga, though I’m only up to ep 16, so this could change in the next 10 eps. But seriously, I love how the anime, so far, have streamlined the manga and made it more sleek and cohesive (honestly speaking, they are doing amazing cakes with minor characters that weren’t developed till later in the mange). Also, the lack of flashback scenes, and the well done basketball matches makes the anime really watchable. Awesomes.

I have got Political Animals and season 2 of Teen Wolf (yes, I watched s1 when it first came out, and it was funny but silly, and then the last 4 eps happened, and I was like, I'M SO THERE NEXT SEASON!) ready to be watched this weekend.

Have started Kuroko no Basket manga too, didn't realise there was an anime. Shall go look for it. And well I guess I feel the same way -- so far all the fics I've read, none of them have the happy ending that convinces me that yeah, they could and did live together without mutual destruction.

I really adore the Kuroko no Basket manga. The artwork gets better, and the managaka starts to develop the characters much more later on. What i really love about the series is that it is about what happens to super powerful characters after they have won everything.

The anime does an amazing job of smoothing out the rough edges of the manga, and the animated basketball matches is really nice.

I need that realistic happy ending, and for years I thought firecat's Snow was going to deliver on that happy ending, except that went, well, it went pear shaped on me. It is getting to the point where I'm going to spew out 500 words just so I can get my happy ending for them.
