In short; Tony Stark is Tony Stark, the film finally confirmed my personal head canon that Tony Stark does know martial art (there is no way Howard Stark did not get the best instructor for Tony when he was a kid, they need him to be able to at least defend himself fromt he kidnapping attempts) and can shoot a gun.
Pepper Potts - CEO, and is awesome. I wanted so much more of her in this film.
Mandarin - OMFG! BETESTET IDEA, AMAZING CASTING, AND AVOIDED SOME POTENTIALLY BAD RACIAL CRAP. HAPPINESS!
Overall; could have cut about 15 minutes from this film (I DON'T CARE ABOUT THESE NEW PEOPLE), and focused more on the characters we have come to know and love. Also, the secondary (third?) plot tangent could have been removed completely and the film would have been tighter and better.
Better than Iron Man 2, not as good as Iron Man. Good pop corn film, has moments of true emotional engagement, but kind of kept on letting it slide for OMFG!EXPLOSIONS! Good armour porn though.
Watch it, at least once at the cinemas.
